I just saw this and I thought it was kind of "profound" to share with my friends here at A.K.A. Models. Models are "aesthetic laborers"...the visual promotion, branding, marketing, etc. that heavily relies upon what people "see" with their eyes.
Models can see the results of what people think of their work, but for someone blind to have an opinion of you...it has to be more than based on your looks. So, what would they hear from your mouth? Is "substance" there?
In this society of "image", let's not forget about the "joy" that you bring to people despite what you look like. If you were to close your eyes and just listen to someone "talk", would you have the right idea of what they look like? Regardless, let your personality always try to outshine what you look like and you'll find a renewed confidence and outlook on your life and what you are capable of doing!
In modeling, that can often be the BIG difference of who actually gets the booking! ;)
